There are lots of social networking sites that pay you to socialize. Here’s one that I recommend.

myLot is a social networking site that shares its ad revenue with members. It’s more of a forum than a social network. There you can setup your profile, add interests and reply or create discussions within your interests. You get paid by the QUALITY (rating) of your post and not by the number of posts you make. You are also paid to add images to your profile and to your interests.
There are people with less posts that earn more in myLot than with others who have lots of posts. It differs from the quality of your posts and how others rate your discussions/reply.
They are also now offering tasks which you could accomplish in exchange for earnings. They pay through paypal monthly. Minimum payout is $10 and you have the option to increase your minimum payout to $25, $50 or $100.
There’s no exact amount that you could earn per post/discussion. Most new members find it hard to earn there. Some are earning fast while others are still yet to reach the minimum payout.
My only tip for you to earn faster is to post quality content, abide the rules and just have fun there. Don’t just think of myLot as a money making website. Have fun and eventually you’ll be earning lots from there without even noticing!
I personally use this site for fun and also for getting referrals to my programs. In fact, I’m now inactive there, just posting when I have time. I’m busy with school (summer class). As of now, I’ve only earned $1.27 there.
Take note though that you are not allowed to post referral links on discussions! If you do that, the discussion will be deleted and you and everyone who replied to that discussion will get their earnings decreased! You are allowed to put ref links/banners on your profile.
Most myLot newbies do the above because they don’t know. Now you already know it so avoid doing it! Please read the guidelines. The guidelines link is found at the end of the page (on the footer). In my case, I just had one of my discussions deleted because I made the same post at another related interest. The post that got deleted was about this blog. I promoted this blog there and the first persons who viewed this blog came from there.
Now, if you want to put referral links/banners to your profile, follow these steps:
- Edit your profile
- click on the “add content” link on the upper right corner of the page
- pick “HTML” Then an HTML sortie will be added in your profile
- Add your ref links/banners there.
