How do they make that much money from advertising?

Well, they are already providing users free services. They let you connect with friends and interact with other people and expand your network. And people love doing these kinds of stuff! In fact, a lot of people spend most of their time online in social networking sites. It’s not that hard to get lots of users for something that people really dig!
Besides that, if people are getting paid to socialize, wouldn’t that decrease the value of their users? Most people will only do it to make some money. I bet the top social networking sites wouldn’t want that to happen.
These are (what I think) the reasons why large social networking companies don’t share their revenue with users.
However…
You could still make money with these social networks if you know what to do. Remember, you could invite your social network friends to your money making programs and earn money from them (as your referrals). You could also advertise for free using the free classified ads.

In this post, I’m going to cover one of the easiest ways to earn money online: Get Paid To Complete Offers!
What is it exactly?
It’s simply getting paid to complete offers from advertisers. All you have to do is sign up to a Get Paid To (GPT) Program and do some offers.
What kind of offers are you talking about?
Offers vary depending on what the advertisers/sponsors want you to accomplish. Most of the time, they only require you to sign up to a website and confirm your registration. After that, you could just forget about it and wait for your account to be credited and get paid. Isn’t that easy online cash?
How much could I earn per offer?
It really depends on the offer. Usually, it ranges from a few cents to a few dollars. Some offers might require you to have a credit card or make a deposit, but that’s really up to you if you want to do that kind of offer.
How many offers can I complete per day?
That depends on the GPT site that you join. Some might have a limit of offers that you could do per day. It also depends on how many offers are available for you. Depending on your location, you might get just a few offers. People from the US are the ones who get the most offers. That’s why they earn more money from GPT than the ones from other countries.
Don’t worry if you’re not from the US. There are sites that has international offers that are available worldwide!
I’m from the Philippines and I know a site that has many offers for international members and offers from many countries (including my country, and maybe yours, too!). In fact, this is the only GPT site that worked for me!

Recently, I joined this new program called Vinefire.
If you visit the site HERE, you’ll know how it works.
Now, after reading it and seeing figures like earning $50/day. Would you join it immediately with high expectations of earning a lot from this site?
Most of those who’re experienced online money maker would say NO.
Why?
Simply because, it’s too good to be true.
One of the very important facts that a newbie online earner must know, is that the internet is full of scams! If it’s too good to be true, then it really is!
Think about this…
Where does the company get the money to pay their members?
In the case of vinefire, they require a small fee of $5.00 to verify your account in order to raise your earning limit from $50/day to $100/day. But that’s optional. Very nice isn’t it?
Another potential source of their income is their “Show Yellow Star” feature. It’s a special feature that you can use for a small fee of $10. This feature adds a Yellow Star to all links that you post/add in vinefire for 1 week. It’s basically just a design so that your links will look fancy and get more noticed.
But, are those enough to pay to their members and also to profit from their site?
I would say NO. They won’t have enough to pay members and to profit from their own site, unless they have investors. People that are willing to pay for advertising on their site, which I doubt.
I know, every link posted there only came from the members themselves. Even if you don’t have that “Yellow Star” thing to catch attention, everyone will click and vote on it just to increase their earnings. Plus, there’s no limit to the amount of links you add each day! That’s why some are adding links every minute so that their links are always seen on the front page. That makes even the “Yellow Starred” Link be buried into oblivion!
They say they won’t pay ’till January 31, 2010. Don’t you think that would only cause their liabilities to their members to pile up? Unless they reduce the earnings per click/vote to a rate less than a PTC site and put up some more features that will make them some profit, I doubt that they will make money or even pay members when that time comes.
Now you may be asking me…
Why did you join vinefire even if you already know these things?
Well, the very reason I joined the site is to try it out. Yes, it’s FREE so why not check it out? And I saw a great potential to advertise my links (ref links, etc) and even this Blog! It’s good traffic but it’s hard to keep it on the front page. You must add the link at least every minute if you want your link to be clicked! Nearly all people who click links don’t leave the front page.
Would you recommend that we join vinefire?
If your goal is to make money with that site, I wouldn’t recommend it.
But if you just want to try it out for advertising your links to get referrals and traffic to your site, then I would highly recommend it!
By the way, after joining the site, you’ll receive an email about a “10 Day – $1000, Challenge”. You’ve got 10 days, to refer 10 people. Each person you refer will get your account credited with $100, so that’s $1000 for 10 people.
You could try it just for fun. But don’t exert too much effort on referring people to vinefire. Prioritize on referring people to the programs where you really earned and got paid, or to those programs that are trusted and proven effective.
As for me, I didn’t even bother to put my vinefire ref link here in my post. So it’s up to you if you want to take the challenge.
One more piece of advice, read the terms and privacy policy of any program you wish to join. I know they may be long and very tiring to read, but you’ll find out the important informations you need to know about the program before joining it.

Now, we’re on to the 3rd part of my guide.
If you have noticed on the title of this post, I wrote “Be a Referral”.
Yup.. you read that right.
But how are you going to earn more if you become another person’s referral?
Well, as you explore the forums that I listed on the 2nd part of this guide. You will see some people posting referral deals which offer payment in exchange for being their referral. That is how you earn by being a referral.
How can you be sure that you won’t get scammed?
Actually, I haven’t engaged on referral deals with some random/unknown person on the forums. That’s because I’m afraid of being scammed. Although there are a few honest persons on the net. It’s up to you to go and take precautions when engaging on such deals.
but if you’re worried of being scammed, read on…
Fortunately, there are trusted websites on the net that pay you for being their referral. They are called RefBack Sites.
How do they work?
RefBack sites deal with refback offers for PTCs and some other programs. That means, if you join a PTC as their referral, you’ll get a percentage of your earnings back (Hence, the term RefBack). Most of these sites offer 70% – 140% of your earnings depending on which PTCs you join under them. What’s good about these sites is that you can earn even if the PTC you joined under them turn into scam! Plus you get updates on the latest sites and scam sites.
Let me explain a bit further…
For example, you joined a PTC as a referral of a RefBack site. This PTC offers $0.01 per click and $0.005 per ref click. Let’s say the RefBack site is offering 70% for this PTC. Let’s calculate:
For every click, you make: $0.005 x 70% = $0.0035
That may sound cheap, but if you add it up to your own clicks at the PTC site you joined under them, it makes a lot of difference! Plus, you could join more PTC sites under them to earn more.
RefBack sites usually credit your earnings when they receive payment from the PTC site you joined under them. So if the PTC site later becomes a scam, you get to keep the earnings you made from the RefBack site. If you want to find out more, then let’s proceed to the next step of this guide:
Step # 8: Join a RefBack site.
Here are the RefBack sites that I recommend you join:
Min. Payout: $2.00 Through AlertPay
Min. Payout: $0.01(PayPal); $1.0(AlertPay)
Step # 9: Log-in to each of your accounts. Join a PTC site under them and make sure you use the same username as the one you used to join GPTBank or First-Five. This is so you won’t have to enter a different username everytime you confirm that you joined a site under them.

As for first-five…
- Hover your mouse to the “Site List” link found above the page.
- Click on “Sites”. Pick a site from the list, click the banner (which should open in a new tab/window) and register there.
- After you registered get back to the First-Five tab/window and click on the “username” link directly below the banner of the PTC you just joined.
- Fill up the form and the info you entered there will be emailed to the First-Five admin.
- First-Five stats are not instantly updated, so you may have to wait for a day before you see your earnings and click statistics.
Step # 10: Click regularly on the PTCs you joined under the RefBack sites above.
Step # 11: Pick a PTC site you joined from any of the RefBack sites (preferrably GPTBank). See which of them are actively paying. You could see it from the Cashout Status section found in the homepage of GPTBank and First-Five.
Use it as one of your main PTC sites. Look for referrals through ref exchange and promote your referral link. That’s how you make more out of PTCs.

Remember I told you that you could only earn a good amount of money with PTC if you have lots of referrals? Well, this next step involves getting referrals for your PTCs.
Unless you have a large network of friends that you could invite and convince to become your referral, getting referrals for PTCs or for any other sites are very hard especially if you don’t have budget. But of course, there are some free ways to get referrals for your programs/sites. Here’s one way:
Step # 7: Engage in Refferal Exchange Deals
What is a Referral Exchange?
A referral exchange is a way of getting referrals for PTCs and other sites by becoming somebody’s referral at his site in exchange for being your referral at your site.
It works like this:
I join your site and click actively, you also join my site and click actively.
You stop clicking at my site, I stop clicking at your site. It’s that simple.
By the way, the reason I told you not to join any other PTC sites except the ones from step # 2 (part1), is because you’ll be joining more sites for Referral Exchanges and some more sites for another method to boost your earnings that I will cover on the next part of this guide.
How do I engage in a Referral Exchange deal?
You could start by joining a forum about PTCs that allow referral exchanging or has a separate section for Referral Exchanges. I recommend joining these forums: forum.cashmybux.com and ptcdatabase.com
Some PTC sites that have forums also have a section for Referral Exchanges, so go check them out.
Once you’ve joined a forum, go to their referral exchange section and post a new topic. Here’s a sample post:
Topic Title: Need Referrals for (insert your site/s here)
Body/Content:
I need active referrals for these sites:
- Site 1 (this should contain your referral link)
- Site 2
After that, you could either leave the forum and get back later to check if someone responded or gave you a PM (Private Message, in case you didn’t already know 
) OR reply to other referral exchange posts/topics. I suggest you post a reply and send a PM to make sure that the topic starter reads/notices your reply.
When someone joins under you through this method, make sure to ask him what username he used to join your site. Check your site and see if he’s under your referral list.
Also, keep in touch with each other. If possible, find other means of contact like Instant Messengers. This way, you’ll have better communication with persons you make deals with. If suddenly he becomes inactive at your site, you could easily contact him and ask why he’s been inactive.
To manage the sites that you’ve joined for referral exchange, make a list on a notepad or other text editor (or even on a peice of paper, just make sure not to lose it ) and write what sites you’ve joined under who and in what forum you got the deal from and other contact details.
Another thing you could do is to bookmark all the sites that you join and name the bookmark like this: sitename – w/name of referrer (forum where you performed the deal)
or you could name it whatever you want, just make sure you include the important details but also keep it short.
That’s the end of part 2. I’ll be covering more ways of getting referrals on my future posts. But before that, I’ll share a method to get more money out of PTCs. It’s a bit related to referral exchange. I’ll explain it on the 3rd part of this guide.

Earning with PTC sites is simple, but earning good money with PTC sites requires some work. In this step-by-step guide, I will tell you how to start earning and how to get referrals to boost your earnings. This is going to be a long post so I decided to divide it into parts. So here’s part 1, enjoy .
Step #1: Register for the Payment Processors that I’ve posted HERE if you haven’t already joined them.
Step#2: Join some PTC sites. There are a lot of PTC sites out there in the internet. But I’m gonna warn you, most of them don’t last for more than 2 months or even just 1 month! They eventually turn into scams.
That’s why I’m gonna suggest that you don’t miss this 2 sites that I’m earning with (actually, I joined a lot of sites, but these are my TOP 2). These sites have good reputation and have surpassed the life span of most PTCs (these lasted for a year and still continue to operate).
For now, don’t join any other PTC sites other than the ones below, I’ll explain it in the later parts of this guide.
Neobux: Innovation in PTC (The MOST trusted and #1 PTC on the net!)
Per click: $0.01
Per referral click: $0.005
Minimum Payout: $2 Insatantly!
Payment Method: PayPal/AlertPay
Bux.gs: Click and Earn Money (One of the Old Trusted PTCs)
Per click: $0.01

Step # 3: After registering with those PTCs, you may have to verify your account by clicking the verification link that was emailed to you, so check your email immediately.
Step # 4: Log-in to your accounts and click the view ads/surf link to start earning money. For Neobux, click on the link/ad then click on the red button that appears. For Bux.gs, just click on the link/ad and it will open in a new tab/window.
Reminder: In any PTC that you join, CLICK ON THE ADS ONE AT A TIME. Click one ad, wait for the timer (usually a 30-second countdown), then wait for a green tick/check mark to appear or a verification that your account has been credited for the visit. After that, close the window/tab of the finished ad then view the next ad, do the same thing until you finish all the ads. You could click the ads again after 24hrs. Don’t forget to click everyday.
The reminder above applies to each site you join. What you could do if you want to finish faster is to open both sites in tabs.
Example: I open neobux in one tab, then bux.gs in another tab. I click one ad at neobux, then one ad in bux.gs, wait for them to get credited then close the finished ads, click the next ad on neobux and bux.gs and repeat the process.
Step # 5: While still logged in to your account, look for your referral link, it’s usually located in your account summary. It usually looks like this: www.ptcsite.com/?r=username
To locate your neobux ref link, click on your username at the top-right part of the webpage to administer your account. Then on the left side, you’ll see a link named “Banners”, click on it and there you’ll find your ref link plus a banner like the one I used at Step # 2. Copy your ref link and the html code for the banner and paste it in notepd so you could later access your ref links and banners easily.
As for Bux.gs, you’ll find your ref link by clicking the “Account” link at the top of the page. You’ll find your banner if you scroll down the page and you’ll find a link called “Banners”. Copy the ref link and html banner code to where you pasted your neobux ref link and banner.
Step # 6: Use your Reflinks and banners to email your friends and invite them to join under you. Be sure that the ones you email are really your friends so that you wouldn’t be accused of spamming.

The amount you earn varies depending on the conversation. You could earn from $0.30-0.50+ per conversation you participate in and posting it to your blogs and/or social network profile. Take note that you must generate impressions for at least 10 days or a specified term in order to get paid. This is a great way to start earning online without any investment.
What am I talking about?
I’m talking about PTC (Paid To Click). It is one of the most popular ways to earn money online.
Advertisers pay for displaying their ads on PTC sites. When members of PTC sites click/view these ads,
part of the payment of the advertisers go to their accounts, thus, making money!
How does it work?
You click an ad on a PTC site for 30 seconds (you’ll see a countdown from 30 – 0). Wait for a check/tick mark to make sure you get paid for your visit.
How much do I earn for each click?
Most PTC sites pay you $0.01 for every ads you click.
It may not look like much, but it adds up!
Below you’ll find an honest example of how much you could earn.
I’m not gonna fool you and exaggerate. I’m not trying to advertise, but instead, I’m trying to help.
Note: Some PTC sites have more ads to click ranging from 4 up to even a hundred ads per day but the normal rate is 4-12 ads per day.
For example:
You join 5 PTC sites that pay $0.01 per ad view.
You click 6 Ads a day for each PTC site:
$0.01 x 6 = $0.06 per PTC site a day
$0.06 x 5 PTC sites = $0.30 a day for 5 PTC sites
$0.30 x 30days = $9.00 a month
Sounds cheap?
Actually, to really earn from PTC sites you need REFERRALS. Referrals are the ones that join a PTC site under you using your referral link or just putting you as their referrer.
You can earn more through your referrals.
Most PTC sites offer you 50% of what your referrals earn. You could also earn 100%+ from your referrals by purchasing/upgrading to a premium account. But we’re talking about FREE MONEY here, so I’ll just show you an example with 50% referral earnings.
Let’s take the example above and show your new earnings with referrals:
Earnings example
Assuming that you have 20 referrals for each of the 5 different PTC sites you joined and each referral clicks 6 ads a day.
» You’re monthly earnings from the above example: $9.00
» 20 referrals click 6 ads per day = $0.6
» Referral earnings from 5 sites per day = $3.00
» Your weekly referral earnings = $21
» Your total monthly earnings = $93.00
Still sounds cheap?
I’ve told you that to earn with PTCs, you need a lot of referrals. Well, persons who are really earning lots of money (hundreds/thousands of dollars) in PTCs also have lots of referrals. I’m talking about people that have hundreds and thousands of referrals! These people invested money in advertising their referral links, buying/renting referrals and upgrading their accounts to earn more from their referrals.
How do I earn lots of money without spending a dime?
Well, you will eventually be spending money in order to earn a lot from PTCs. But what you will do is just to reinvest what you earned for free from these programs and use it to ren/buyt referrals, advertise, and upgrade your account. This way we could still say that you earned money without spending a dime because you started with $0.00.
Now, you do the math and imagine how much you could earn if you have lots of referrals.

Before we could make money online. We need a means of transferring the money we’ve earned into our own pockets. This is where Payment Processors come in.
While some of the online earning opportunities could pay you through check, it’s much easier to receive money through online transactions especially if you’re not from the US (which most of the paying online companies are based). I’ll explain the concept of Payment Processors briefly below.
What is a Payment Processor?
A payment processor is a company that provides services for accepting online payments including credi/debit card transactions. In short, this will be your online wallet.
Why do I need a Payment Processor?
You need a Payment Processor to start earning online because most of the online opportunities pay through online payment processors such as PayPal and AlertPay (I’ll explain each of them later).
This is more convenient than check payments because the transaction will be smooth. This allows you to receive payments instantly. No more waiting for days and worrying if your check will arrive or if you have waited in vain. This also helps you determine if the company you work for really pays, because there’s no reason for them to delay payments unless they’re running out of money.
PayPal Payment Processor
PayPal is one of the oldest and most famous payment processors. Many online shops and sites accept PayPal payment or pays through PayPal (Ebay, geeks.com, etc.). Most of the programs that I will recommend to you pays through PayPal.

AlertPay is very much like PayPal, it’s new and you’ll need this for some of the programs that I will recommend to you.

Note: When you register for these payment processors, you don’t need to have a credit/debit card immediately, but you will need one to verify your account and withdraw your funds to your bank account.
